What should I wear on Sunday mornings?
We believe that the most important thing about a worship service is worship, not dress, so feel free to come comfortable and casual. God is more concerned with the inward condition than the outward appearance. For the most part we wear casual attire. Ladies wear anything from jeans & blouse to nice dresses. Men wear anything from jeans & cowboy boots to dress shirts & tie. So comfort & modesty is the key!

How is the leadership of Immanuel organized?
We believe the scriptures call us to be an Elder led church. So we start with our Elder Leaders who provide vision to our staff and volunteer leadership.
Where do the tithes and offerings go?
We have a regular operating budget that is available for anyone to see. Since our primary calling is to Poteau and the surrounding region, the greater majority of our resources are used locally. In addition, we also cooperate with and provide financial support to the LeFlore Baptist Association, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, the Southern Baptist Convention, as well as various missions efforts locally and abroad.
